- We provide extension activities in the lessons for students who work quickly.
- Project work that is done in the students own time in addition to homework, is used for assessment of either speaking or listening presentations; or will be given a curriculum grade and put in their folder; and sometimes will be displayed in the classroom.
- Able students are given opportunities to mentor less able students for example: reading through their work and pointing out areas in need of improvement.
- We encourage students to enter writing competitions and have sent a small number of pieces of work off.
- Drama club is available for KS3 students.
We are currently looking at other ways we can improve in this area.
