Gifted and Talented provision at King Edward VI Humanities college forms an integral part of the normal daily teaching practice. King Edward VI Humanities College’s lead teacher is Mr L Crossland although all teaching staff endeavour to provide students with exciting and demanding challenges within the curriculum in order to motivate and maximise all learning potentials.
What does Gifted and Talented mean?
Gifted and talented pupils as those in the top 10% of every cohort. The Department for Education state that:

Gifted - describes learners who have the ability to excel academically in one or more subjects such as English, drama, technology.

Talented - describes learners who have the ability to excel in practical skills such as sport, leadership, artistic performance, or in an area of vocational skill.
