• Opportunities for extension have been built into class work planning.
• The majority of Technology homework has an optional extension task that allows students to improve the depth of their work.
• Level ladders are used to ensure all students know how to improve their work and gain a higher level.
• Food Technology are in the process of organising a lunch time ‘healthy eating grub club’
• Resistant Materials will be offering a team competition this year to year 7’s were they will design and build a self powered vehicle and race in a knockout style competition.
• Year 8 were taken off timetable for a day and took part in ‘design your own eden project’.  This was jointly run and organised with the Science dept. and Setpoint.
