Student ambassadors show their personal best
Year 7 students at King Edward VI Academy (KEVI) have been showing their personal best in order to be selected as ambassadors for the academy.
Seventeen lucky students have now been appointed to represent KEVI at open evenings, parental tours and other external events. The students will also be ‘buddies’ for Year 5 and 6 students who would like to join the academy, and will also represent their peers as the academy’s student voice.
Mr Lancaster, Acting Principal at King Edward VI Academy, said: “We believe that student ambassadors have an important role as representatives for our academy. We received many fantastic letters from the students who wanted to apply for the positions.”
He continued: “It is so important that our students show their personal best in everything that they do in school. We are very proud of our ambassadors and have every confidence that they will excel in their new roles.”
