Study With Us

"I love coming to King Edward’s – there’s always something new and exciting to learn. We also have lots of important speakers who visit the academy and help make what we’re learning even more interesting." (Year 9 Student)
Our curriculum is broad and innovative and sufficiently flexible to support the needs and aspirations of each individual student. Students are taught in small class groups to enable all students to receive personal attention from their subject teacher.
 
At Key Stage 3 students study:

  • French or Spanish
  • Geography
  • History
  • Technology
  • Art
  • Music and performing arts
  • Personal and social education, including citizenship
  • Physical education
  • Religious education

Key Stage 5: Years 12 and 13

Students follow BTEC National or First Diplomas in Business Studies or BTEC Sport. Sixth Form courses are expanding with the addition of science, electronics and music.
